Now, I’ve decided to take on the 30 day #LinkYourLife blogging challenge – starting today. The concept sounds fun so I figured I’ll participate and see where it all will lead to. In addition, challenge myself in taking the connection on a deeper level. For more head on to honeyquill.com.
Writing is just like any other form of communication, connecting us with one another. I write to express myself, to share and to connect.
So for the next 30 days I will only be posting for the #LinkYourLife challenge. And hopefully you’ll get an understanding of who I am.
Day 1: Write a letter introducing yourself to the world as you are now.
Summer has arrived and I couldn’t be more happier. Hopefully, there are more sunny days ahead but I won’t get my hopes up as my family and I live in the rainy/windy parts of Norway.
However, the weather does not dictate my mood or spirit.
Summer for me, is a time when family is in full focus. It’s a time when we put aside (literally) and forget all about the stressful everyday life and take a long break. A time where we create new memories, engage, explore and discover more of life’s wonders.
I am in a good place now, spiritually as well as mentally and have been the last couple of months. I have learned to deal with the fact that I’m truly responsible for me and my actions (or lack of any). I’m learning to face my difficulties, challenges and emotions. And I can proudly say I’ve come a long way.
For the past six months now, I have embarked on a weight loss journey. For years, I have been struggling with my weight and I could not succeed to save my life. Today, I realize that in order to succeed at anything I need to start loving myself and believe that I’m capable and worthy. Prior to my journey I knew I would have to stop making excuses and putting myself down. With time, self-love and respect along with the right mindset, determination and hard work I have so far lost 12 kg (26.5 lbs.). The journey continues…but I’m optimistic and hopeful that the best is yet to come!
I’m proud to call myself a writer, aspiring to become an author. I’m committed to my dreams/goals/aspirations and I’m enjoying the journey and the learning process.
In short: I am grateful, learning, evolving and hopeful!
