Unseen Beauty

One glance at my reflection
An unfamiliar creature I see
With a face I do not recognize
A body I pray is not mine

Twisted words of beauty
All imprinted in the mind

Sill all I’ve ever wanted
Was for you to notice me
A moment is all it would take
To see the beauty that lies hidden

In a second glance at my reflection
I realize my beauty will remain unseen
