A continuation from last wednesday’s post – a second attempt to find an answer. After digging and having a discussion with myself, I managed to get some of my thoughts down. But I would love for you to share your opinion on the matter. What do you think; is it realistic?
In a rush (or perhaps on a bad day and childish moments if things haven’t gone my way) my answer would’ve been – ‘No, it’s not realistic’. But after trying to find a reason to why ‘no’ – I can’t seem to come up with a valid reason. I guess deep down I believe that anything is possible for the reason that it’s been proven several times in my life; it is – as I’m sure some of you have also experienced the same.
Anything can happen; from the most unthinkable incidents to the most incredible events. We can plan for anything but not the outcome.
Not all things can’t be explained in this world. We’ve experienced incredible things from around the world that don’t always resonates with reality or even can be explained. Everyone’s reality is different from each other (in some cultures/societies we have a huge gap in between).
There is no denying that we all see and interpret life, reality and the world around differently. I guess, it all comes down to what we each believe, the values and experiences we’ve acquired along the way.
In the perspective of self-realization and believing that we can achieve anything – making the impossible possible, depends on different and certain parts in us and the world around us. The only way ‘anything’ is possible (and realistic) is when we embrace who we are and what lies within us; our abilities, dreams and desires. Whatever we have within us is possible.
If I’m going to make a list (I like making lists) my point of view is that anything is possible when…
We’re aware and know our own longing.
We have the strength, talent and skills and we use them.
We’re being authentic; Our true self is like a flower waiting to flourish.
We have courage, which we enable to pursue/realize ‘anything’ even knowing we’re probably going to face some challenges trying to achieve what seems impossible in the ‘now’.
We dedicate hard work in any goals/dreams.
We have determination and persistence
We eliminate or find a way to work with our fears.
In (my) conclusion, to answer my own question: My thought is yes. Anything is possible, to a certain extent. However, the question should rather be do you have the right people and/or the right tools to make whatever possible? For I believe that’s the key when it comes to pursuing/achieving the impossible and success in any aspect of life.
With the right ‘ingredients’ anyone can attain whatever that needs attaining. Over the history of humans, we’ve proven that we are capable of overcoming any obstacles, challenges and even accomplish impossible dreams/goals.
At times, in life – it’s the impossible that keeps us going….
